We are thrilled to announce the release of our 2023 Impact Report! This report highlights the incredible progress and achievements our organization has made over the past year. Here are some key highlights:
🌟 Empowered Communities: Through our deep canvassing program, we’re connecting with people to build support on major issues such as building support for a Biodiversity and Ecosystem Health Law in B.C. by connecting with people in B.C. mill towns, supporting a Zero Carbon Step Code in Coquitlam B.C., and ending offshore oil and gas exploration in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
🤝 Partnerships and Collaborations: Last year, we formed and continued partnerships with like-minded organizations, amplifying our impact and extending our reach in places such as Calgary, AB, rural Ohio, and a state-wide initiative in Maine.
📈 Growth and Development: The end of 2023 officially saw Neighbours United transition from a non-profit organization to a registered charity. This will allow our supporters to receive charitable tax receipts for their generous support.
