Deep Canvass Online for Old Growth Forests- February 28th

The current N.D.P. government’s has unveiled a framework for a potentially pivotal law — a direct response to the urgent need for action on old-growth logging and forest ecosystems in BC. This legislation, known as the Biodiversity and Ecosystem Health Law, has the potential to drastically change how we manage one of Canada’s most important natural resources. With your help, we can make sure this framework becomes law and will be the change we need for B.C.’s forestry practices.

Together, let’s have transformative conversations with our neighbours in Castlegar to safeguard the last remaining old growth forests of B.C. Join us to learn the skills of deep canvassing to make a lasting impact and unite with like-minded individuals in a journey of preservation.

Training and support will be online.

Deep Canvass Online for Zero Carbon Buildings Coquitlam

Buildings are significant polluters in Coquitlam, their energy use creates 43% of our city’s carbon pollution, worsening climate change. Coquitlam families are already being impacted by the changing climate, whether by having to make changes to their home, make plans to deal with extreme weather, or worse.

Our goal: Make all new buildings in Coquitlam as emissions and energy efficient as possible!

Together, let’s have transformative conversations with our neighbours in Coquitlam to make our communities cleaner and safer. Join us to learn the skills of deep canvassing to make a lasting impact and unite with like-minded individuals!

Deep canvassing is all about sharing personal experiences, and being compassionately curious about the experiences of our neighbours.

You don’t need to be an expert—everyone’s welcome!

Join us for an Online Event from 3-6pm (Pacific Time) over Zoom. The first half will be a training session on how to have powerful conversations with our neighbours, and for the second half, we’ll hop on the phones to talk to folks in Coquitlam!
