We want our Jumbo Wild!
The province is moving forward this week with legislation that would allow an unprecedented assault on our democracy: creating a municipality where there are no permanent residents.The move would allow the Ministry of Community, Sport, and Cultural Development to appoint the Jumbo Resort town council, which could then make land use decisions with no accountability at all.
We are inviting the public to CALL or FAX the premier’s office on Monday May 7 with a simple message: We want our Jumbo Wild!
