Farms to Friends is about local food security & our most vulnerable residents. Neighbours United is launching a new program to support 75 families and seniors in need this year to access healthy food grown locally in the West Kootenays.

Renewable energy, clean energy jobs, healthy communities. We need West Kootenay communities to join the global movement and phase out fossil fuels and transition to 100% renewable energy by 2050. Neighbours United works will grassroots community leaders, businesses and local governments to get to 100% renewable energy.

BC’s current forest policy and regulatory regime are insufficient to maintain healthy, sustainable forested ecosystems, particularly in the face of climate change and the need to manage for ecosystem resilience. We need a moratorium on logging old growth forests now!
