Castlegar Voter Guides

This is your opportunity to share your track record.

How have you defended the health, safety and inclusion of the people in your community; as well as the air, water, and land that they rely on?

What do you think are the biggest issues facing Indigenous, Black, People of Colour, low-income, and other marginalized people in Castlegar?

Castlegar has already adopted the West Kootenay 100% Renewable Energy Plan.

If elected, how will you support the implementation of these goals and plans to ensure that they are equitably implemented?

Healthy, intact forest ecosystems help communities deal with the worst impacts of climate change. They also protect our clean drinking water and provide us with air to breathe.

If elected, what actions will you take to help ensure that our forests are defended by both the region and the Province?

If elected to office, what kind of policies would you support to ensure healthy local food is accessible to your community? How will you ensure that the most vulnerable residents are prioritized?
