Castlegar Climate Action Rally #KootsClimateRally
Meet at City Hall at 1:30pm, walk to Millennium Park Celgar Pavillion for 2pm

Castlegar Citizens Concerned about the Climate Crisis is hosting a rally to be in solidarity with global communities asking for strong climate action at the UN Climate Conference in Paris and beyond. The rally will be held on November 29th 2015 at 2pm at Millennium Park. We hope to demonstrate to politicians at all levels of government that we care about the climate crisis. We will be featuring local speakers, political leaders, musicians, and more. Hot beverages will be available to keep everyone warm and we will end with a candle-lit ceremony.

Please dress warmly and use the hashtag #KootsClimateRally when sharing photos of the event on instagram, facebook and twitter.

An optional Climate March will be gathering at 1pm at City Hall and leaving towards Millennium Park at precisely 1:30pm. Signs and banners are encouraged as well as percussion instruments!
