West Kootenay EcoSociety is hosting summer day camps for kids age 8-12 at the Kokanee Creek Park Visitor Centre. Through fun-filled activities, we will explore nature with games, hikes, art and journaling with naturalist/educatior Monica Nissen. Aboriginal afternoons with Toni Appleby, Metis cultural instructor. Learn Medicine Wheel and Smudging, Rawhide Rattles, Totems and Animal Spirits, Elderberry Darts and a Falconry Demo and Pine Needle basketry!
Held in beautiful Kokanee Creek Provincial Park, these camps are for kids and parents who LOVE nature!
