You’re invited to a camp-style dinner in recognition of the intrepid folks
who spent almost two months at the Jumbo Wild camp this fall. The outcome
of the fall’s action is still very much in doubt, but we are certainly
grateful to the many people who have kept Jumbo Wild for so long.
Come celebrate, commiserate, and motivate at the Nelson Seniors’ Centre at
717 Vernon St on Friday November 21 with a camp dinner, slideshow, and live
music.
There will also be a sale of the late Kim Kratky’s extensive book
collection, generously donated to support a cause that Kim was such a part
of.
Cost for dinner and entertainment is $10-20 sliding scale. There will be an
open mic to share stories and songs. I hope to see you there!
